Overview & Strategy
All Persona games use a calendar system that limits the number of activities you can complete each day. As a result, only a set number of activities are available during each playthrough, and many achievements tied to those activities can be missed. Some players follow strict guides that map out every activity day by day. I do not recommend this approach, as it can undermine the way the game is meant to be experienced. Persona 4 Golden has a more forgiving schedule than other Persona games, and completing every achievement requires at least two playthroughs. However, you still need to be mindful of the missable achievements. If you want to complete the game in the minimum two playthroughs, keep these achievements in mind during your first playthrough: [Compulsive Reader], [Mr. Perfect], and [The Truth In Your Hands]. You must aim for the True ending on your first playthrough, as detailed in [The Truth In Your Hands]. Your second playthrough is the ideal time to earn [Legend of Inaba], [One Who Has Proven Their Power], and [The Power of Truth]. However, the [Harcode Risette Fan] achievement may be what discourages you from pursuing 100%. It can require keeping an Excel spreadsheet beside you, which is not particularly enjoyable. Overall, earning every achievement in the fewest possible playthroughs requires accepting some spoilers. If you want to play through the first run completely blind, you will need approximately 2.75 playthroughs.
