This game requires you to gather all collectibles on the map, similar to other Assassin's Creed games. However, the map is not large, the collectibles are not bloated, and some of the puzzles are actually engaging. It is possible to get all collectibles without a guide, though you may need to search for a tip here and there. You only need to take note of one missable achievement: [You Snooze, You Lose]. This can be alleviated by getting the blowdart upgrade as soon as possible, then using it on the first guard with a key that you see. [Playback] is the hardest achievement in this game and could pose a challenge even if you lower the difficulty. It requires you to replay almost all of the sequences and contracts in the game while completing specific challenges, such as not getting detected, finishing within a time limit, or completing no-assassination runs. It is not one of the hardest achievements out there, but it could still be a problem for some players. The rest of the achievements can probably be cleared through natural gameplay.
Estimated Time: 40-50 hours
*Assassin's Creed Mirage* is a return to form for the franchise. The game has tighter parkour routes, a more compact and detailed map, and a stronger emphasis on stealth gameplay compared to the last three mainline releases. Baghdad is beautiful and detailed without feeling bloated. Basim can be a bland character at times, but he shines more in the DLC. The story is nothing to write home about and is honestly very forgettable, but I would still highly recommend finishing the game to see what it offers.
